About Us

Veronica Salazar comes from Harlingen, Texas. While pursuing her first degree, Veronica was offered a one year paid internship with Long Chilton, LLP in McAllen, Texas.  Working under several CPAs, her primary duties were assisting with payroll preparation for companies in the U.S. & Mexico & assisting with preparation of Franchise, Partnership & S-Corp tax returns. Veronica decided to go back to college and while obtaining her 2nd degree, she decided to take a position with the Rio Grande Valley Chamber of Commerce as their Finance Director.  Managing finances for the Chamber and 7 other nonprofit organizations that were administered through the Chamber, Veronica, was actively involved with all Chamber events, assisted in the coordination of the State Legislature’s visit to the Rio Grande Valley.  She was also acknowledged by the Texas House of Representatives and single-handedly coordinated a reception for the U.S. Ambassador Garza in Mexico City at his residence. With the assistance of a friend, BillaBillz, L.L.C. opened it’s doors August 1, 2009.  Going on 5 years as a business owner, Veronica and her staff enjoy meeting new people, helping clients become better organized with their bookkeeping and developing trust with their clients that leads to not only a business relationship with them, but a personal relationship.   Veronica’s business motto is that “Nothing business starts without being personal.” Veronica has a Bachelors in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting that she obtained from Devry University.  She has over 15 years experience in Accounting and Finance and 6 years one-to-one experience preparing individual tax returns. She is certified in Microsoft Office and has provided training classes on Microsoft Excel & QuickBooks to several corporations in the Tri-Cities area.  Veronica is a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Besides enjoying helping people out with their bookkeeping and payroll, Veronica is also passionate about health and fitness.  She began a health journey almost three years ago after she was tired of being overweight.  To date she has lost a total of 100lbs.  She started at 270lbs just walking the blocks and then began running intersections.  As the days passed, the running distances increased. Veronica has ran numerous 5ks, 10ks, several half marathons, a full marathon and is now in training for a Half Ironman.  She was introduced to Advocare a few years back and really liked the products they offered. She began incorporating them in her daily supplement regimen and also for her fitness training regimen.  She decided to become an Advocare Independent Distributor and pursue her 2nd passion of health and fitness coaching utilizing Advocare products and also sharing with other people her health journey.  She has helped many individuals out with their weight loss and fitness goals. She feels that with Advocare she can help people with both their health and their finances.
